We all want to be happy.

“We focus so much on our differences, and that is creating, I think, a lot of chaos and negativity and bullying in the world. And I think if everybody focused on what we all have in common – which is – we all want to be happy.”

– Ellen DeGeneres

Help Stop Bullying!

“What if no one stopped to help you while you were getting bullied? If you are neutral in situation of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. Bully starts and ends with us.”

Colombia had a fantastic run in the World Cup, and before returning to Italy, Colombia star Juan Guillermo Cuadrado took the time to play football with underprivileged children in Medellin.

The 26-year-old arrived in the La Sierra neighbourhood with football kits and equipment for the children of the community. But before entering the football pitch, Cuadrado, who has recently been linked with Manchester United, gave a 30-minute speech on football in front of 500 local people.

Cuadrado said:

“We want to show the friendly face of this neighbourhood and that is why I recommend that the children bet on the sport, remembering that God is the only one who can change this.

“If we all work and strive together, we can always move forward.”

PALESTINIANS TURN SMOKE FROM ISRAELI ROCKET STRIKES INTO POWERFUL IMAGES

The conflict between Israel and Palestine has recently been escalated, but many supporters of both sides can agree that any innocent civilian lives lost during the conflict are a tragedy. Several Palestinians have found their own way to grieve for the dead and to cope their strong emotions about the conflict – by drawing images that they see in the smoke rising from the sites of Israeli rocket strikes.
The images that they see in these violent clouds of smoke are shaped by their experience in Palestine – they are full of imagery usually associated with rebellion, resistance and grief. I can only hope that the current violent confrontation between Israel and Palestine comes to an end as soon as possible, for the good of innocent civilians on both sides. PEACE!!!
